My Latest Deals

I bought the pillow at Target for only $1.04. Regular price was $2.54 and I used a Target printable for $1.50. Cheap pillow!
We got 4 packs of Huggies at CVS. I made Hubs go with me and use his CVS card to pick up two packs. He had no ECB's to work with so his total was higher than mine.

His transaction:
2 Huggies $8.99 each
Used 2 $3 Huggies coupons

OOP=$12.80
Received $5 ECB's

My transaction:
2 Huggies $8.99 each
1 Fudge Brownie Bite $1.50
Used 2 $3 Huggies coupons
Used Free Gift Email Coupon for Brownie Bites
Used $4, $2.99 & $1 ECB
Used $2 off $10 baby products coupon I got when I scanned my card

OOP=2.66
Received $5 ECB's
The Huggies and Kotex are from Walgreens last week.
2 Huggies $8.99 each
1 Kotex $2.99
2 Candy bars (for fillers) 49¢ each
Used 2 $3 Huggies coupons
Used 2 $3 RR

Total OOP=$10.43
Received $5 RR
I won't even go into the nightmare at Toys R Us trying to buy these movies with coupons, which I should have been able to do, but it didn't happen. I told them they could keep their movies and I would spend my money elsewhere. So I went to Target and though they wouldn't price match Toys R Us, which they should have too, I still bought them there.

$22.99 each for the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack
I got $10 off for buying them both
Used $10 Toy Story Coupon
Used $10 Toy Story 2 Coupon

With tax, I only paid around $17 for both movies which was still cheaper than one at regular price so I was happy.
Lesson learned: Try as you might, you can't get all the deals. There will be cashiers and managers that don't understand coupons or in my case, take the coupons all week during the sale until Friday, the day I come in of course. So apparently, if I would have shopped at Toys R Us Thursday night, I would not have had a problem. After a 30 minute phone conversation, I came to the realization that a supervisor at Toys R Us corporate headquarters wasn't aware of their own coupon policy.

I find it quite ironic that after getting so irritated at Toys R Us, I received this quote in one of my emails:
"Although your customers won't love you if you give bad service, your competitors will."
