Donation Day

We delivered our Couponing for Community donation this morning to Least of These. I left with tears in my eyes and feeling so thankful. I'm thankful those there getting items were being helped. I'm thankful I was able to help. I'm thankful there are so many others out there who donate their time, money and goods, no matter how small, to help out their neighbors.

The people at Least of These were thankful too. The man helping me load my bags into a grocery cart asked if it was a donation from a church or another group. Though our church has given donations in the past, I told him it was all just from this coupon-obsessed-mom.

Couponers stock up for their own families on a weekly basis and a lot also donate on a weekly basis. Donating is an awesome use of your coupon deals. Couponing for Community has been so awesome this week. It has made me want to coupon more. Shop more. Donate more. I'm excited that this has caught on and spread like wild fire. What a great way to help your community!
